As a first generation Nigerian American, Kola’s unique perspective and creative vision was largely shaped by his experiences growing in Norman, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma on an athletic scholarship and focused his studies on psychology. When injuries sidelined his professional football ambitions, he moved to Los Angeles where he’s been acting, writing and doing stand up comedy ever since. When he’s not creating and performing, Kola can be found training for Tae Kwon Do (he’s a red belt), going to yoga, hitting the gym or reading. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and cross-eyed siamese rescue cat, Elroy.
